Help Preserve Our Public Lands — Vote No on the Sale Proposal

To: Rep. Tokuda, Sen. Hirono, Sen. Schatz

From: A constituent in Kula, HI

June 23

I am writing to express my very strong opposition to the federal land sale provision in “Big (not so) Beautiful Bill. As a deeply concerned constituent, I believe selling public lands for private use is short-sighted and could harm our environment, economy, and public access to these vital areas. What scares me the most is that once they are gone and destroyed, we will never get them back. I know that many of our elected leaders are also opposing this sale, please continue standing strongly with them in protecting these public lands. The proposed sale prioritizes short-term financial gains over long-term sustainability, and I strongly believe this is not in the best interest of our state or the entire nation. Thank you for all your hard work, your time and consideration. I trust you will take a stand against this harmful provision.
