Stand up for the American people.

To: Sen. Schumer, Sen. Gillibrand

From: A constituent in Buffalo, NY

February 25, 2025

Senators Gillibrand and Schumer, I write once again to strongly urge you to do something about the fact that the so called Department of Government Efficiency is looting the American people. All under the guise of supposedly trimming overspending, but all they’re doing is taking information and wrecking people’s lives. It’s just been said that they are in the NIH financial systems; and the idea that private citizens that aren’t vetted have access to sensitive information is maddening to me. How is no one raising an alarm at how much of a security risk this all is? Elon Musk is ensuring that he becomes richer while life gets harder for the average American. The average American he dubbed as the ‘parasite class’. This should not stand. Being called parasites while the billionaire class are the true parasites; leeching off the honest labor of Americans. Elon is literally doing what he did to Twitter but to the American government. There are too many moving parts to be randomly demolished by someone who hasn’t spent a single day in actual governance. Everything Trump has co signed involving him is disastrous. His cabinet picks are horrific too. Speaking of, RFK Jr in a position of power is absolutely horrifying to me. He’s pushing the idea of wellness farms for people who are on SSRI’s, that have autoimmune issues, etc absolutely codes as concentration camps. To take anyone off of these medications will cause unimaginable damage. Those people need these things to be functioning and contributing members of society and the fact that some anti vaccination megalomaniac believes he knows better than actual doctors is disgusting. Myself and others need Democrats to rise up and leverage what power they have to halt this horrible march towards the Fourth Reich. That may seem dramatic, but considering Trump was already teasing the idea of a third term and even jokingly called himself a king? We should know by now that any thing he jokes about is literally a soft test before he up and tries it. This country has no king. We had a whole war about that, and anyone declaring themselves as king while gutting the country is tantamount to treason. Do something.
