Dear elected representative: I do not want to hear about your charming, relatable childhood. I do not want to hear your (very obviously false) attack campaigns on the competition for midterms. I don’t want to discuss evolved issues that require emotional intelligence - like education reform, artificial intelligence restrictions, reuniting America; we are not in a calm, rational moment where that would be appropriate and most of you have shown yourselves incapable of communicating at that level, or with any professionalism. What I want to hear about is this: - What are you going to do about the unconstitutional abuses of power currently being openly committed by the president and his administration? - How are you going to IMMEDIATELY address the damage that’s been done by a 34-time convicted felon who is in collusion with Russia and North Korea to infrastructure and the economy? - Why should we allow you the opportunity to do anything, based on your current record of allowing this felonious, traitorous, grifting behavior to continue without even the mildest chastisement? - What is your personal response to American citizens being killed in our streets by masked military forces? - What does the oath of office that you took - to defend your constituents and the Constitution - mean to you and how have your actions shown that? Please do not attempt to gaslight me, we are in the age of archives. The disgusting, hateful, divisive rhetoric is beneath all of us, but especially you as a career politician. Shame on you. Focus on the issue at hand: America is on its knees and you are the men and women that we have elected to defend it. This is not vacation time; we are watching. We are voting.
