Opposition to Confirmation of Matt Gaetz and Tulsi Gabbard
To: Sen. Warnock, Sen. Ossoff
From: A verified voter in Palmetto, GA
November 17
I am writing to urge you to vote against the confirmation of Matt Gaetz and Tulsi Gabbard to any federal position requiring Senate approval. As a constituent committed to upholding ethical governance and effective leadership, I strongly believe their track records raise significant concerns that should disqualify them from consideration.
Matt Gaetz has consistently demonstrated behavior that undermines public trust and the integrity required for federal office. His history of divisive rhetoric, partisan brinkmanship, and allegations of unethical conduct calls into question his ability to act in the best interests of the American people.
Similarly, Tulsi Gabbard’s controversial stances, including her association with foreign regimes and support for policies that contradict core democratic principles, have left many constituents—including myself—concerned about her judgment and alignment with the values that should guide our leaders.
The Senate plays a critical role in ensuring nominees meet the highest standards of character and competence. Confirming individuals with polarizing reputations and questionable decision-making would undermine public confidence in our institutions.
I respectfully ask you to stand for accountability and transparency by opposing their confirmations. Our country deserves leaders who inspire trust, foster unity, and prioritize the well-being of all Americans.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter. I look forward to your response.
