Group confirmation votes undermine the legitimacy of Congress. Refuse them

Senator Collins, in the past you have vaunted your commitment to regular order and even used it as a reelection promise. I am appalled by the new GOP workaround of doing group confirmation of nominees. Do you consider it to be regular order? Yesterday Senate Republicans rubberstamped 49 Trump nominees without the consent or agreement of Democrats, weaponizing the partisan procedural workaround they created last year. Please throw your bipartisan credentials in the trash with all the other lies put about by Trump and his supporters. Mass confirmations are an assault on democratic principles and undermine the legitimacy of Congress. I ask you to speak against them and commit to vote against all future Mass confirmations
