I’m sending this letter support you and urge you to take immediate action after the United States joined Israel in launching strikes on Iran today. The Trump administration has again taken military action without any specific Congressional authorization. President Trump has also confirmed that the U.S. has undertaken “major operations” in Iran and has also said “U.S. lives might be lost.” I am urging you to call for the following actions immediately: -Public clarification on the scope of U.S. involvement -Call for and support the Khanna–Massie War Powers Resolution in the House. -Oppose ANY funding for military escalation without Congressional authorization. Does the regime think if we call it attack it doesn’t count? Congress needs to act on this immediately! Thank you for continuing to fight for the constitution, democracy and your constituents.
