I am outraged---no, I am livid--watching the evil and lawless actions that ICE is engaged in. These masked and armed men are, at our government's behest, kidnapping people in America and putting them in concentration camps! Children are being separated from their parents, many times witnessing the violence ICE inflicts on their parents since they are traveling in the vehicle with them. Peaceful potestors are being beaten and tear gassed. The recent heinous shooting death of the young woman in Minneapolis and the shootings of two people in Portland are reminiscent of Hitler's Nazi Gestapo--not America! I vehemently oppose what ICE is doing: sweeping up citizens and immigrants alike because they look or speak "Mexican" or seem to be another dark skinned, foreign person; denying them due process to fight being incarcerated and/or deported; subjecting immigrant "prisoners" to inhumane treatment in American concentration camps; and ICE officers descending on high-immigrant communities to terrorize them. I am furious at my government for not just allowing this to happen, but for now making us live in a police state, with state-sanctioned violence against people living here! I do not want my taxes funding this facist police state! I expect the tax dollars I pay to be used for roads, bridges, police and EMS services, food safety, medical research, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and numerous other services that benefit the people in our country--not Trump's private military that terrorizes people and murders them with apparent impunity.
