I support Democrats refusing to pass a budget that sells out the American people. Republicans are pushing lies—claiming immigrants get free healthcare, while in reality their plan raises premiums and strips coverage from millions of Americans. After their sham “meeting” with the president, it’s clear they don’t care about families, only protecting corporations and donors. Let me be clear: Republicans own this shutdown. Stop trying to blame Democrats. This crisis is a direct result of GOP failure and dishonesty. West Virginians deserve a real budget that protects healthcare, safety nets, and working people—not this dangerous circus. Do your job and pass a budget for the people.
