I am writing to ask you to publicly condemn the Trump administration’s arrest of Mahmoud Khalil and demand his immediate release. This is a clear violation of human rights and an alarming sign of growing authoritarianism. When people start getting “disappeared” on the whim of the president with no legal basis, we are ALL in trouble. Will you issue a public statement condemning this unlawful arrest and take action to ensure Khalil’s immediate release? I’d like a response in wiriting please.
