It's time to impeach and remove Kash Patel.
His conduct since his confirmation demonstrates that he is unfit to lead the FBI.
His use of government planes for his social life should have been disqualifying already.
His dismissal of FBI Iran experts shortly before the start of Trump's illegal war shows perilous poor judgement. And his poor judgement leaves our national security vulnerable.
Then there are the instances of him inappropriately disclosing current investigations; and undertaking investigation as retaliatory actions.
Now it's been reported that he has been too drunk to do his job. The latest revelations about the extreme measures his security detail had to employ to rouse him from drunken sleep should be the last straw. Having to resort to a swat team battering ram?! This would be laugh-out-loud hilarious if it were not such an alarming omen of incompetence.
While the senate was considering Patel, thousands of Americans contacted their senators to emphasise that Patel lacked the required experience, qualifications, integrity, judgement and sound character.
Those reservations have proven well-founded.
What do you think our foes and organised criminals make Patel's conduct? For them it's a hint that they can get away with whatever they dare while the FBI head occupies himself with a playboy lifestyle jetting about on our expense for dates and concerts, drinking excessively, depending on his security to obtain a battering ram when he could not otherwise be awakened for duty.
Is this the sort of character you want running the FBI?
Please, impeach and remove Patel. It is not a partisan issue to insist that the FBI head should not endanger our national security by his lifestyle.
