Democrats once again prove their inability to rally and support the base. I support Biden and Harris as do many I stood with in Detroit last week and speak
with daily. As an active volunteer, activist and Democratic supporter for many years I can honestly say I have never been more fearful or discouraged by my party. There is not enough money I could donate, postcards I could write, calls I could make or Marches I could walk in to undo the damage the Dems are causing. That is not on Biden nor Harris. Your party has a loyalty problem, a messaging problem, a playing by the rules problem and an ego problem. The infighting, secret squirrel comments to the media and childlike bullying of Biden and devaluing Harris has allowed the Media to tell the story. It has allowed Trump and his GOP to be normalized in mainstream media with no pushback by party leaders for fear of losing independent voters. While I will vote for democratic candidates up and down the ticket because I have to I am deeply disappointed in the party I have proudly held on to for my entire adult life.
I feel sure that whatever moves are made next to change party leadership for President will be no guarantee to winning an election. However, if we don’t win I feel sure this could be the last Democratic one of my lifetime. What you all do next needs to be coordinated, courageous and together with Biden and Harris I feel sure of this!
