I'm writing today in opposition to the slew of bills being heard during the Senate Judiciary Committee meeting and the House Energy Committee. KOSA, IODA, COPPA 2.0, the SCREEN Act, the Appstore Accountability Act, and STOP CSAM all are built not to prevent kids or prevent victimization, but are made to enable predators and scammers. The UK enacted its disastrous Online Safety Act and as a result, identity theft, scams, trafficking and exploitation have increased and continued unabated. People are talking about the ROBLOX disaster because age verification has proven the point many experts warned about for years: it's ineffective, costly, insecure and opens the door to grooming. Please oppose all of these bills.
