SAVE Act is anti-military and anti-family—Republicans shouldn’t support it!

To: Sen. Hawley, Rep. Burlison, Sen. Schmitt

From: A constituent in Springfield, MO

February 12

I am requesting you vote no on the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act would require voters to have a birth certificate or passport, and would make it more difficult for people who have had their names changed to vote. I’m worried that this would discourage people, especially younger people, from getting married and starting families. After all, why would you want to get married if it meant jumping through extra hoops to vote? I am also worried that the restrictions on mail-in voting would make it so our troops stationed overseas can’t vote. Senator, you claim to be a member of the party that cares for family values and for our military. The SAVE Act is anti-family and anti-military. Please do not support it!
