Germany, England and France are all issuing travel advisories for travelers coming to the US. Trump is doing everything that he can to turn the US into a rogue nation that is no longer safe for foreigners to come to. The xenophobia and hatred that this man perpetuates does not at all embody or embrace the American ideal or identity. Tourism is a major industry here. Hotels, restaurants and other associated businesses will be crippled by his actions. Combine this issue with the ill advised handling of the economy, and we are surely on the path to a Trump Recession and quite possibly Trump Depression. More importantly than the economic impact is the social impact. His war on "DEI" is a war on minorities. We are on human rights watchlists now as he mirrors 1930s Germany tactics to create an enemy from within. Please, you must interject here. Congress has been far too quiet and allowing Trump to run roughshod over the Constitution and usurp powers of the Congress. Congress, along with the courts, are equal and separate branches of government. This separation and balance of powers has worked quite well since the Constitution was ratified and George Washington. Of course there have been challenging times throughout our history, but never has the Republic been in jeopardy the way that it is today. Trump's quest to turn the US into a dictatorship is well underway. Action is required. Please fulfill your oaths of office and stop this madness. Thank you.
