As a constituant, I am deeply concerned about Trump’s all-out assault on the Constitution. He is making a mockery of our system of checks and balances, and demonstrating that with the right moves, all of our safety nets against this kind of direct action can be bypassed. As American citizens, we should not stand by and watch the system crumble to his will. We must uphold the Constitution and fight for it’s enforcement. We must get Elon Musk out of the offices and charge him for stealing citizen information. We must protect the human rights of our citizens. I urge you to speak loudly and proudly against the actions taken by Donald Trump and Elon Musk, and continue your unwavering efforts to block them wherever possible. I urge you to let his drastic actions radicalize you. Your constituents are fighting with you every step of the way on this journey, and are begging for stronger and more drastic counter-actions from our representatives. If there’s anything I know about New Yorkers, it’s that we will not stand by and watch on the sidelines as our human rights are stripped away. Give them hell, and show them what it means to be one of us.
