I am writing as a deeply concerned citizen to urge immediate action to restore public trust in our federal institutions through transparency, accountability, and visible justice. Recent killings involving federal agents have shaken the nation. Internal reviews and agency-led investigations are not enough. When government agents take civilian lives, the public deserves independent prosecution and fully transparent judicial proceedings, where evidence is presented openly, testimony is heard, and accountability is visible. I am not a legal expert, but as a citizen, I believe our country urgently needs to see justice done, not behind closed doors, but in public courtrooms. Independent trials restore confidence, protect constitutional values, and demonstrate that no one is above the law. At the same time, the continued secrecy surrounding the Epstein files represents another profound failure of transparency. Years of sealed records and delayed disclosures have deeply eroded trust in our justice system. The full release of these records is essential to demonstrate that wealth, power, and political connections do not shield individuals from accountability. This moment calls for leadership that is bold, transparent, and principled. I urge you to: • Support independent federal prosecutions and public judicial proceedings in cases involving lethal force by federal agents • Establish strict congressional oversight and external investigation of DHS and ICE operations • Release all relevant body-camera footage, surveillance video, and operational records • Hold public hearings on federal law enforcement accountability • Support the full public release of all Epstein-related files and records Our democracy cannot function without public trust. Trust cannot exist without transparency. Transparency cannot exist without courage. Now is the time to show the American people that no agency and no individual is above the law. Please act!
