I am opposed to the possible siting of an ICE detention camp in Newport, or anywhere on the Oregon coast, or for that matter anywhere in Oregon. ICE is out of control. They are acting as a terrorist organization; masked, unidentified, violent, and without regard for people’s civil rights or legal standing. The entire DHS and ICE enterprise is devoid of the concept of due process. Please do everything in your power to prevent harms to our community from this rogue administration.
