Thanks to machinations of DOGE, NOAA is understaffed and unable to adequately deal with forecasting hurricane Melissa. Fortunately volunteers have stepped in to help. THIS IS NOT HOW OUR GOVERNMENT SHOULD WORK!!! Before Trump 2, NOAA was staffed and funded. Emergencies could be anticipated and tracked. This administration is harming the American people. CONGRESS COULD and SHOULD STOP THIS ADMINISTRATION. Restore our government’s ability to a function well and with competency.
