The fact that the unnecessary White House ballroom project is now expected to cost taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars is unacceptable. Private donations already cause a conflict of interest, but now we have the worst of both worlds—citizens and noncitizens buying favor with the President while taxpayers also foot half the bill. Please use your power to oversee this problematic use of funds.
