As a homeschooling mom and someone who has studied and published American history, I am deeply concerned that an unelected person is interfering in USaid. As you know, this is a program supported by both Republicans and Democrats. Remember the wonderful work that Pres. George W. Bush has done to combat HIV around the world. As you also know, soft power much of the time is the best response to global crisis; even aside from moral obligations, soft power and aid is demonstrably affordable and effective. Please do the right thing by urging the President to protect the vulnerable by restoring aid. Thank you for your time.
