Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing you today to bring awareness to Canine Testing occurring at Charles River Labs on 55 Union Street Worcester, Massachusetts. Not only are beagles (known for their forgiving and kind nature) subjected to barbarism that no sentient being should be subjected to; but Canine Testing is rooted in ineffective scientific method and has a poor correlation rate to human outcome and impact. The Beagel Bill is not enough and only affords adoption to those who survive testing (the dogs are typically subjected to repeat tests and studies until their bodies cannot handle any more pain). Massachusetts needs to continue its reputation of the most progressive state in the union. I implore you to make testing on canines in Massachusetts illegal.
