President Trump and Secretary of Defense Hegseth, freshly (or perpetually?) starved of spectacles, is planning a public execution of a disabled man. This is beyond F-'d up in more ways than one, and I implore you to put a stop to it. Under normal procedure, Nidal Hasan, the man in question, who was sentenced to death for the shooting at Ft. Hood, would have been handled as discreetly as possible, and forgotten by most, if not all. Instead, the public execution would propel the man into spotlight, with little good that would come of it. Certainly, it is doubtless that jihadist groups, starved of a martyr to rally against the US, would prefer that Hasan be made that very martyr. Already, the SITE Intelligence Group - which tracks jihadist propaganda - has suggested that the very expectation of a new martyr has been weaponized by those very jihadists. Nothing good can come out of encouraging more terrorism, especially when self-inflicted. If Hasan is truly such a danger to society that he must be put away forever, there is a simple solution: lock him away in Florence, forever. ADX Florence is an extremely secure prison used to house some of the country's most notorious criminals indefinitely, with great success. Hasan can slowly, but surely, waste away in there while the world forgets his brief spotlight and moves on. Even the jihadists that have gotten excited would be disheartened if they were to find out that no glorious death awaits, that they would simply rot away, far from the martyrdom they so desired. Please do all you can to halt Hasan's execution, for it will do nothing good. Do everything that is necessary to force Trump and Hegseth to back down. Furthermore, I encourage you to ensure that Hasan gets moved to ADX Florence, if he is truly too dangerous to be released to society.
