The Daniel Ellsberg Press Freedom and Whistleblower Protection Act addresses these issues through several vital reforms: Establishing a Public Interest Defense: It allows whistleblowers to testify about their motives and prove that their disclosures were intended to benefit the public rather than harm the nation.
