We did it! We worked hard to get you reelected! And thank goodness you were. Now make sure Democrats don't make the mistake of thinking that the people just want a return to the status quo before Trump, like Sen Hickenlooper implied on election night. Trump and now Dems have been elected because people want change for the better. Make sure Democrats are visibly working toward that and get stuff done or make it well known that Republicans are the ones in the way. Otherwise we'll lose the presidency again in the next election, which we can't afford to have happen again. Please do not support Chuck Schumer and Hakeen Jeffries for leaders in Congress. They are uninspiring to the American people. They have not done a good job standing up against Trump. There must be others who can do better, and those can help in the background like Pelosi did after stepping down from leadership, if they really have some special capability. We need people leading who understand why the American people have elected Democrats and speak to them in a way they are receptive to, and to stand up to Trump's overreaches. I think Democrats need to get to work fixing the issues that got us Trump, like passing ethics bills for all of government, get corporate money out of politics, and focus on cost of living including access to healthcare. People need to see us focusing on what makes their lives better. Then after Trump is out of office and can't do more harm, focus on investigations to make sure there is accountability. But right now, don't waste time with investigations and impeachment, just get to work making things better for Americans and showing the country that's what we care about. End the illegal war in Iran, stop the inhumane treatment of immigrants and people racially profiled, and help people struggling to make ends meet. Thank you for your service to our country.
