Please follow Denver's lead: legislate now to stop the presence of armed agents on election days at voting places. Per Marc Elias's Democracy Docket: "Civil rights group and city of Denver ask court to block any plans for armed federal agents at polls during midterms • Armed federal agents are planning to patrol voting locations during elections, and the courts need to act now to keep it from from happening, a new lawsuit from civil rights organizations and the city of Denver alleges." All voters in every state need that protection. Please enact a similar law. Trump is assaulting our constitutional rights and the rule of law daily. He will stop at nothing to sabotage fair elections. Take that threat seriously: no one could have predicted January 6th. Prepare now.
