Dear Congress, It has been a week since President Trump explicitly threatened genocide. As the President of the United States, his words carry weight extraordinary weight, and must be taken seriously. Why have you not taken your oath of office seriously and removed him? America can and must be better than this, but your inaction is standing in the way. His genocidal threats are just another in a long list of crimes against our Constitution. He has hampered free speech, activated the military against his own people, trampled due process, and violated the Constitution in so many other ways. If you’ve ever read the Constitution, you know this is true. The country is worried. You took an oath. It is TIME TO UPHOLD IT. You have the power to stop this. Go across the aisle and find like-minded legislators who love and care about our country and are willing to act to preserve it. Rule IX gives you the authority to force a vote on impeachment. Your oath obligates you to use that authority. This is an emergency. You must file articles of impeachment now.
