President Trump has sent an untruthful, embarrassing letter to the Prime Minister of Norway and has additionally copied it to European Ambassadors in Washington. Please “read it and weep” and then do your job to stop his ridiculous ideas about Greenland. Attacking Greenland is not smart or necessary, as we already have the privilege to have armed bases on Greenland. Denmark and therefore Greenland are a part of NATO and it seems foolish and Putin-like to desire Greenland. Trumps tariff ideas will soon break long-held allies away from the US. In this world we need unity with others who have pledged to follow rules-based ideas regarding not making land grabs. Please do something to stop these crazy ideas of taking over Greenland and using tariffs to punish those Trump thinks are denying him a prize. I understand why he didn’t win the Nobel Peace prize - there is nothing peaceful about our president.
