Your Constitutional Duty to Impeach the Attorney General

To: Sen. Hawley, Rep. Burlison, Sen. Schmitt

From: A verified voter in Springfield, MO

February 14

Attorney General Pam Bondi’s refusal to answer direct questions before the House Judiciary Committee about the handling of child sexual abuse cases was a blatant rejection of congressional oversight. It is the kind of conduct associated with authoritarian governments where officials operate without accountability. No Attorney General is above the Constitution. When the nation’s top law enforcement official refuses transparency on the prosecution of sexual predators, it destroys public trust and weakens the rule of law. You have a constitutional duty to act. I expect you to support impeachment proceedings and to state your position publicly. I expect a written response.
