I strongly oppose Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s confirmation as Secretary of Health and Human Services. His long history of spreading misinformation about vaccines and questioning their safety is deeply concerning. Vaccines are one of the greatest public health achievements and have saved millions of lives. Having someone who rejects well-established science on vaccines in charge of agencies like the FDA and CDC would be extremely dangerous. Kennedy has also wavered on abortion rights, stating conflicting positions. Someone with such disregard for women's reproductive freedom should not oversee policies related to women's health. Furthermore, Kennedy lacks relevant qualifications or experience to lead a department as vital as HHS during a potential future health crisis. His nomination is irresponsible and puts politics over public health. I urge you to thoroughly scrutinize his anti-science views and reject his nomination to protect the health and wellbeing of all Americans.
