Oppose the 19 bills being heard in both committees!

To: Sen. Ossoff, Rep. Carter, Sen. Warnock

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

November 29

The House has presented 19 bills touting them as solutions to online child safety problems. As a great-aunt and a constituent, I am asking you to oppose KOSA, the SCREEN Act, the GAMERS act, IODA, STOP CSAM and any and all other bills in the proposed House package, along with the Senate package and Kids Online Safety Caucus package. Age verification that has been implemented has been a failure for victims, minors, kids and families, endangering their privacy, safety, and freedoms while creating grounds for surveillance, censorship, data theft, AI-produced CSAM, trafficking, grooming and abuse. These bills create conditions that make it easier for predators to thrive online, while making it harder for victims to communicate with others who have suffered. My great-nephews and nieces would grow up in a world where their data could be stolen and used against them by cyber criminals. This has to be prevented. Please oppose these bills!
