Help your constituents by voting AGAINST the big beautiful bill

To: Sen. Blackburn, Sen. Hagerty

From: A constituent in Oak Ridge, TN

May 23

Please vote AGAINST the big beautiful bill. Not only does it add greatly to the deficit, it disproportionately hurts the majority of Americans. According to Economist Robert Reich, Americans making between about $17,000 and $51,000 will lose about $700 a year. On average, Americans with incomes < $17,000 will lose more than $1,000 a year. But if you are among the top 0.1% of earners, you’re in luck: you’ll gain nearly $390,000 a year. This is a cruel bill for the majority of Americans. This bill adds so much to the federal deficit that it will trigger the 2010 law requiring offsets, which will in part come from Medicare cuts and everyone, including Pres. Trump, said there would be no cuts to Medicare (other than reducing fraud which is a low percentage Medicare.) Please protect and support your constituents by voting AGAINST the big beautiful bill.
