Pete Hegseth is the worst US SecDef of my lifetime. That means worse even than Rumsfeld, Cheney , and McNamara. Let's break it down. Hegseth is trying to inflict racism and misogyny on the DoD, purging Black and female officers and interfering with their promotions. The guy is a White Nationalist who tolerates and, so far as I can tell, actively tries to instill, a Christo-fascist mindset in the US military. In a just society he would likely be tried for and convicted of war crimes, e.g. extra-judicial killings at sea including ordering fire on survivors. If the Secretary of Defense is a civil officer of the United States, then he is eligible for impeachment. His most prominent and clear-cut crime is ordering extra-judicial killings. Congress should impeach and remove Hegseth. He's not only a criminal, he's a walking, talking, 24x7 disaster as SecDef. Thank you.
