I need you to investigate the disturbing challenge coin distributed to federal employees at the B.H. Whipple Federal Building in Minnesota and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
This coin celebrates Operation Metro Surge with imagery of skulls, assault rifles, explosions, and burning buildings. One side shows Trump and Tom Homan under a skull with glowing eyes. The reverse depicts tactical officers amid flames and military helicopters with text reading "METRO SURGE URBAN OPERATIONS." This operation resulted in thousands of arrests, detention of U.S. citizens, and three shootings by ICE agents, including the killings of activists Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
Federal employees are distributing tokens that glorify violence against American civilians. This isn't normal. Challenge coins traditionally honor service, not militarized aggression against our own communities. DHS claims there's a review process for branded merchandise, but they won't confirm if this coin was approved.
Find out who authorized this coin, whether it violated DHS branding guidelines, and what disciplinary action will be taken. Then ban the distribution of any similar materials that celebrate violence or militarization of immigration enforcement. The culture within these agencies has become toxic, and this coin is proof.
