The Trump administration's proposal to deport U.S. citizens and incarcerate them in foreign prisons is a blatant violation of civil liberties and constitutional rights. This unprecedented plan would strip American citizens of due process and subject them to inhumane conditions in Salvadoran prisons. The recent deportation of U.S. citizen Abrego Garcia exemplifies the administration's disregard for judicial orders and the rule of law. We demand the immediate return of Abrego Garcia to the United States and an unequivocal termination of any plan to traffic U.S. citizens to foreign prisons. This dangerous proposal undermines the most fundamental principles of American democracy and human rights. It cannot be allowed to proceed under any circumstances.
