An Open Letter

To: Rep. Ryan

From: A verified voter in Highland, NY

July 15

First, please ask the Congressmember to vote yes on the so-called “Massie amendment,” which would cut $3.3B in funding to Israel. That money needs to stay in the US, not pay for more anti-Palestinian violence. Second, please ask the Congressmember to vote no on HR 9237, the so-called "Take Care of America's Veterans Act," which would create the largest cut to veterans' benefits in history. It would also direct GI Bill funding toward low-quality for-profit and unaccredited online programs and strip VA psychologists of collective bargaining rights. There’s a lot more. It’s bad. Vote no. Finally, I understand that House Republicans are trying to add the SAVE Act to the National Security/State Appropriations bill. No! This bill would cause electoral chaos and potentially keep millions of eligible American citizens from being able to vote. Please oppose! Thanks!
