In 2024, Republicans warned that Kamala Harris would drag America into World War III, including war with Iran, while dismissing concerns about Trump’s relationship with Russia as a hoax. Now, America is locked in an illegal war with Iran while Trump weakens sanctions against Russia, provides Putin economic relief, and undermines Ukraine.
You spent years defending this president. Now you owe Americans an explanation for why his policies repeatedly benefit Vladimir Putin.
Article III, Section 3 of the Constitution defines treason to include adhering to America’s enemies, giving them aid and comfort. That is a serious constitutional standard, not a casual political accusation. But when the president’s actions materially benefit a hostile foreign power, Congress has an obligation to investigate—not excuse, enable, or ignore those actions.
You have constitutional oversight responsibilities. You cannot simply surrender them because the president belongs to your party.
I want you to answer three questions:
Do you support Trump’s decision to waive sanctions against Russia?
Will you demand immediate congressional hearings examining Russia’s financial and military benefits from these decisions?
What specific actions will you take to protect American national security and restore meaningful congressional oversight?
You cannot spend years campaigning on patriotism, dismiss Russian interference concerns, excuse policies that benefit Putin, and then pretend you bear no responsibility for the consequences.
Your oath is to the Constitution—not Trump, not the Republican Party, and certainly not Vladimir Putin.
Stop defending the indefensible. Exercise your authority. The American people deserve answers, not another round of excuses.
