Demanding internal communications, membership lists, and financial records from peace organizations is not a tax inquiry — it's a political intimidation campaign, and you should say so publicly. This is a coordinated crackdown. One day before those subpoenas dropped, the State Department released a 100-page report labeling Cuba the center of global terrorism and naming 43 people and organizations — including sitting mayors, members of Congress, the Amazon Labor Union, Black Lives Matter, and the DSA. Secretary Rubio announced new terrorist designations for left-wing groups, framing all opposition to U.S. policy as "Far-Left Terrorism" to be met with the same response as jihadist attacks.
