Today, in the ongoing legal showdown between the Trump administration and the courts over the return of Mr. Abrego Garcia, whom the administration *admits* that they sent to El Salvador by mistake, Mr. Abrego Garcia's lawyers filed a pleading which ends with one simple sentence. After recounting how the Supreme Court ordered Trump to "facilitate" Abrego Garcia's return, and the Trump administration saying that it was unable to get him back, Mr. Abrego Garcia's lawyers pointed out this one simple fact: "There is no evidence that anyone has requested the release of Abrego Garcia." And you know what? They're right. It is clear that the administration has never actually requested the release of Mr. Abrego Garcia. Please DEMAND that President Trump request the release of Mr. Abrego Garcia, and publicly, so that he can't lie about it. Thank you.
