Governor Scott's proposal in response to the property tax increases due to education costs is despicable. Gov. Scott's proposal punishes school children for his administration's inability to create a comprehensive and equitable property tax proposal. Gov. Scott's proposal needs to be rejected and a more sustainable, fair, and equitable solution needs to be authored with input from the governor's administration and all state representatives.
