when are Schumer and Gillibrand going to start leading? Today an appeals court let Doge go ahead with access to computer systems. The overhaul of the social security system crashed. These peoplehave no clue, no experience and no actual authority to gain this kind of access. This impacts our national security, social security, helathcare and pretty much damn near everything else. And you two are not out there screaming, Instead you chickened out and even voted to let the trump budget go ahead. Why, exactly are you two in congress? Because you sure as hell are not representing your voters. This is outrageous, unconscionable and beyond sick. You will be lucky if any of us still vote democratic in 2026 because in case you have not seen the polls, the democratic party is even more disliked than the GOP. How the hell does that even happen?? It happens because democrats still have no clue how to get their message out. You hide behind bland pressers that the media pretty much ignores, you mouth platitudes and pretend outrage but then you sit and hide in your offices. Only representative Tonko has shown any courage and action. His town halls have been packed and his approval rating is high. With good reason. But you, Schumer & Gillibrand? Nothing. We want Corey Booker. Time for Schumer to step down and make way for someone with a real backbone. Seriously you are now complicit in what the GOP is doing- destroyi8ng this country. Either stand up or get out of the way for representatives who actually care enough to fight back. I thank Rep. Tonko for everything he is doing, and I am disgusted and ashamed of this country and your cowardice. You are complicit.
