I firmly believe that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is unfit to continue serving as the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). His actions and statements have undermined public health efforts, spread misinformation about vaccines, and dismantled essential services, putting lives at risk. The ongoing measles outbreak, which has already claimed the lives of 3 individuals, including 2 children, is a direct result of Kennedy's failure to unequivocally endorse vaccination and combat misinformation. His dismissal of the outbreak's severity, promotion of unproven remedies like cod-liver oil, and suggestion that the vaccine itself causes illnesses have eroded public trust and led to delayed care and preventable harm. Furthermore, Kennedy has reneged on promises of transparency and scientific integrity within HHS. He has censored research, silenced public input, and replaced expert advisory committees with opaque, politically-motivated gatherings. The firing of thousands of dedicated public servants across critical health agencies like the CDC, FDA, and NIH, without adequate replacement, has crippled the nation's ability to respond to health crises and ensure the safety of vaccines and medications. Kennedy's actions directly undermine the mission of HHS to enhance the health and well-being of all Americans through evidence-based medicine and sound scientific practices. His continued presence as Secretary poses an unacceptable risk to public health and safety. I strongly urge his immediate resignation or removal from office and the appointment of a leader who will prioritize facts, science, and the welfare of the American people over personal beliefs or political agendas.
