Stop the Federal Ballot Mail Portal from going live. This system — built in three months, barely tested, and reportedly still under construction during active court orders to halt — operates on a zero percent failure rate, meaning a single scanning error can reject an entire batch of tens of thousands of ballots. That's not a safeguard. That's a trap. About a third of Americans voted by mail in 2024. A USPS whistleblower has already warned Congress that the agency "lacks the technical or operational capability" to roll this out safely before November's midterms. Engineers themselves were calling it "a shit show" in the final week. USPS has refused to disclose an expected rejection rate — the whistleblower says that number was deliberately withheld because it would reveal how broken this is. Demand that USPS comply with the court order issued August 27 and cease all work on this portal immediately. Support Senator Blumenthal's investigation and push for full disclosure of internal records. Every eligible voter deserves their ballot counted — not discarded by a rushed, untested system designed to fail.
