The suspension of habeas corpus is a severe threat to civil liberties and represents an alarming erosion of constitutional rights. This authoritarian overreach undermines the foundations of our democracy and legal system. We must vehemently oppose any attempts to deny due process and enable unchecked detention without charge or trial. Restoring habeas corpus and upholding the rule of law should be an utmost priority to protect individual freedoms and prevent further abuses of power by the current regime. Urgent action is needed to rein in this disturbing escalation towards totalitarian rule.
