Mexico just announced a Universal Health Service that will give all 120 million citizens access to any public medical institution. If Mexico can commit to universal healthcare for its entire population, the United States can do the same for ours.
Our current system leaves too many people behind. Private insurance companies profit while Americans face denied claims, surprise bills, and impossible choices between medical care and financial stability. Mexico's plan will integrate services through unified medical records and eliminate bureaucratic barriers. We need that same commitment here.
I'm asking you to support legislation that moves us toward universal healthcare. Every other wealthy nation has figured this out. Mexico is taking this step despite having far fewer resources than we do. Americans deserve a system where healthcare is a right, not a privilege tied to employment or ability to pay. Please champion policies that expand public healthcare access and reduce our dependence on profit-driven insurance companies.
