As your constituent, I urge you to vote NO on the $87.6 billion emergency defense supplemental bill. Congress already voted to halt military operations against Iran. The executive branch cannot be allowed to ignore the War Powers Act by using temporary pauses to reset the statutory clock. Do not allow the administration to bypass Congress. I expect you to use your power of the purse to deny this funding and force a strategy of constitutional compliance and withdrawal. A vote to fund these munitions is a vote to extend an unauthorized war, and I will remember this vote at the ballot box.
