AI data centers are a cancer upon this nation. We, the people, are begging you, our elected officials, to help us defend our communities against these environmental disasters. Most recently, there is a move to site a data center in Columbia County, directly on the river. This will negatively impact our water infrastructure as well as be a power suck at a time when energy prices are doing nothing but go up. It will also harm the estuary with being a heat island, a sub-sonic noise producer and a source of light pollution. If the data canter brings generators, it will also bring air pollution. Help us to fight these centers and kick AI Data centers out of our county and out of our State. That’s why we elected you in the first place, to serve the needs of the people!
