I am writing to urge you to oppose any federal budget deal that does not extend the ACA premium tax credits and stop Trump's illegal budget cuts and impoundments. The Trump administration has repeatedly defied Congress' constitutional authority over tariffs, the military and the federal budget. Directing federal appropriations is one of Congress' most vital constitutional authorities. Congress must hold firm and refuse to give another blank check to an authoritarian.
