De-escalate US-Iran tensions, pursue diplomacy over war.

To: Sen. Slotkin, Rep. Walberg, Sen. Peters

From: A constituent in Grass Lake, MI

June 22

The conflict between the United States and Iran has escalated to dangerous levels with the recent US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. While the intent may have been to eliminate Iran's nuclear program, military action often breeds more violence and suffering. Now is a crucial moment to renew diplomatic efforts and seek a peaceful resolution through dialogue and negotiations. The path of war will only lead to further destruction, loss of innocent life, and instability in the region. I urge you to use your influence to de-escalate tensions, halt military operations, and pursue sustainable peace through diplomacy and respect for international law and human rights. The cycle of violence must end, and diplomacy must prevail for the sake of all people impacted by this conflict.
