Why do we owe Tom Dondun $600M of our hard-earned money to renovate the Moda Center for his sportsball franchise? He has enough money to do it himself! Oregon can’t fund our schools. People can’t pay rent. But Mayor Keith Wilson and Governor Tina Kotek want to give this billionaire millions of dollars of our public money instead of funding housing or healthcare. There are so many needs Oregonians have that our taxes should fund, and yet politicians and a billionaire who isn’t an Oregonian want to take our money to renovate a perfectly-functional sports arena. Reflecting pools, ballrooms, and now sports arenas. Politicians are out of touch and stealing our tax dollars!
