Support Full Release of Epstein Files and Accountability for Co-Conspirators

To: Sen. McCormick, Sen. Fetterman, Rep. Bresnahan

From: A constituent in Kingston, PA

February 6

I am writing to urge you to support complete transparency in the Jeffrey Epstein case and demand accountability for all individuals involved in his sex-trafficking operation. The Justice Department's recent document release falls far short of what survivors deserve and what the law requires. Representative Ro Khanna, who co-authored the transparency law mandating these releases, stated that the Justice Department has released "at best half the documents." This incomplete disclosure is unacceptable. The released files already contain references to prominent individuals including tech leaders, finance executives, and politicians who were associated with Epstein or attended his private events despite knowing he was a convicted sex offender. If these partial releases "shock the conscience of this country," as Representative Khanna noted, then the American people have a right to see the complete record. The survivors of Epstein's crimes have been victimized twice: first by the trafficking scheme itself, and now by a Justice Department that appears more interested in protecting powerful individuals than delivering justice. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche claims prosecutors cannot "create evidence" or "come up with a case that isn't there," yet survivors and their attorneys maintain that the full documentation would enable further prosecutions. The Justice Department's rush to declare "case closed" before releasing all materials raises serious questions about their commitment to accountability. Ghislaine Maxwell is serving 20 years in prison for her role in this scheme, but she did not act alone. The clients who enabled and benefited from this operation must face consequences. I urge you to demand the Justice Department release all remaining Epstein files immediately and pursue prosecution of every individual who participated in or facilitated these crimes. Survivors deserve nothing less than full transparency and complete accountability.
